Nature Tourism
It is well known recognized that Danube
Delta still represents one of the last wilderness refuges
from the Europe. Very few
places in the Europe can offer what the Danube Delta can
to modern man. The feel, the smells, the sounds, and the
sights
of virgin wilderness are incomparable. The lakes, virgin
forest smells, awesome sunsets, plentiful wildlife, birds,
and wildflowers
never cease to amaze you. You "never" tire of or
get used to the ever-changing face of nature. It’s
far too encompassing to become familiar. Each day is such
a tiny
chip in time to share with nature that one never loses the
impact.
Just imagine, endless miles of virgin lakes and shoreline to
explore, coupled with the beauty of wildflowers and the soft
voices of native songbirds. Try swimming off a sandy beach,
or relax in a quiet moment of a beautiful sunset, surrounded
only by the water land. We are dedicated to giving you a
fishing or
bird
watching experience that provides you with special
memories to relive for years.
The value of the Carpathians cannot be overestimated:
exceptionally rich in species diversity, the region supports
species not found anywhere else in the world, and it is
also the last European stronghold of large mammals, such
as the brown bear, wolf and lynx (outside Russia). In addition,
the region contains some of the continent's most extensive
areas of both mountain and virgin forest. There are eexceptionally
rich in plants and animals: one third of all European plant
species occur in the Carpathians. About half the total
area is covered by forest; the rest being mainly grassland
with small alpine meadows forming stepping-stones along
the highest crests. While the region’s valleys owe
their creation to rivers, former glaciers have carved out
beautiful lakes at the highest points.
It is also the only place in Europe where you can see virtually
all the large mammals living together as nature intended.
That’s why we developed here some bear
watching programs.
